Eight civilians were injured in a grenade attack on a police station in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Tuesday.
Official sources said suspected militants lobbed a grenade at Police Station Pulwama on Tuesday. However, they said the grenade missed the target and exploded outside the police station, resulting in injuries to eight civilians.
“The injured were immediately taken to a hospital from where two were referred to a hospital in Srinagar in a critical condition,” they said. They said the militants managed to escape from the spot, adding additional security forces have been rushed to the area and a search operation has been launched to nab the attackers.
