BJP will get more seats than what it got in 2014, says Rajnath Singh By Indian Times Daily

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that the kind of “personal” attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to face in these elections was unprecedented. He expressed confidence that the BJP would get more than what it had got in 2014--282 out of the 543 seats.

Addressing a press conference here, Singh spoke on issues ranging from the “successful” tenure of the Modi government to Mani Shankar Aiyar’s latest remarks against the Prime Minister.

“Abusing someone cannot be categorised as freedom of speech,” he said, asking the Congress to explain its stance on his latest views.
