Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has questioned the use of EVMs in the recently concluded elections to the Karnataka Assembly where the BJP emerged as the single largest party. The Shiv Sena chief also congratulated Congress party chief Rahul Gandhi in putting up a tough fight.
“Opposition parties have raised questions on the credibility of the voting machines. Just once, I want the BJP to contest and win elections with ballot papers instead of Electronic Voting Machines. All the questions in the minds of people will be blown away,” Thackeray told reporters even as he congratulated the saffron party on its showing in Karnataka.
