Veteran SAD leader and Rajya Sabha member Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa paid obeisance at the Golden Temple. Dhindsa had resigned last month as the SAD secretary general and from the party’s core committee, citing health reasons. During his maiden visit to Amritsar ever since he quit party’s core committee, he refrained from saying anything on the party leadership or “Taksali” SAD leaders from Majha who had shown resentment on the party working and avoided the Patiala rally. “I have nothing to say about others’ stand, but I have already sent a detailed letter to the party high command on what I wanted to say,” he said. He added that he didn’t have any contact with SAD patron Parkash Singh Badal ever since he was relieved from party affairs. “I
was away and my phone was also not working,” he said. He added that there was improvement in his health and he had come to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple to seek blessings. He also took a holy dip.
