Law & order situation in state has gone from bad to worse in state By Indian Times Daily

(UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party slammed Capt Amarinder Singh led Congress govt for turning a blind eye to the depleting law and order situation in state.

In a press statement issued from the party headquarters, AAP state chief and Member of Parliament from Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann said that the law and order situation in the state has gone for a toss.  Not a single day passes when incidents of crime taking place in various parts of the state in broad day light are not reported.

Mann said that, in the recent incident the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) district president Patiala (Rural) Chetan Singh Joumajra was attacked by some armed miscreants, firing at him from a close range, leaving him grievously injured.

He said that Jormajra was attacked at a time when he tried to save a girl from the clutches of a group of goon who had reportedly waylaid her with an ulterior motive of kidnapping her.
He had to be rushed to the nearby hospital in a precarious condition by bystanders, where he is undergoing treatment.

Mann said that this is not an isolated case where criminals had their way without the scantest fear of law. Party workers and the who’s who of other walks of life, more often than not, fall prey to the crime-mongers, which is a matter of grave concern.
