Punjab CM condoles senior SAD leader Chaudhary Nand Lal's demise

(UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh expressed grief over the demise of four-time SAD MLA and former Chief Parliamentary Secretary from Balachaur Chaudhary Nand Lal who died after a prolonged illness on Sunday. Nand Lal, 73, breathed his last in a private hospital at Mohali this morning. He is survived by two sons.

The Chief Minister described Nand Lal as a politician and leader of masses who worked tirelessly for the welfare of downtrodden and overall development of Kandi region.  The leader would be remembered by one and all, especially in the Balachaur area for his strong connect with the local residents at the grassroots level.

The Chief Minister said a void has been created with Nand Lal's death which is difficult to be filled. The Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss and peace to the departed soul.
